Kenneth "Kenny" Watkins, 65, Hobart, OK died Friday, April 27th, 2012 at Hobart, OK.
He was born October 24, 1946 to Alfred D. and Mildred (Whiteley) Watkins at Hobart, OK.
Kenny grew up in Gotebo, OK and graduated from Gotebo High School in 1964. He then moved to Oklahoma City where he worked for Western Electric and then worked for Oklahoma Natural Gas in Clinton and Cordell for fifteen years and to Hobart in 1987 where he worked for Hobart Public Schools as transportation director. He married Lynda Burchfiel, August 28, 1987.

Son: Tracy Watkins and wife Beth, Weatherford, OK
Daughter: Terri Botts and husband Sean, Grove, OK
Son: Bill Hess, Edmond, OK,
Son: Robert Hess and wife Mary, North Fork, IL
Mother: Mildred Watkins, Hobart, OK
Sister: Naomi Harrison and husband, Roy, Carnegie, OK
Nine grandchildren: Corey Hess, Cameron Hess, Walker Botts, Slade Botts, Talon Watkins, Baylor Watkins, Preston Hess, Sydney Hess, Maren Hess and a great- granddaughter, Kaybree Hess.
One niece, Nikki Dodd and great Nephew, Sy Dodd, both of Gotebo, OK
He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred D. Watkins.
Family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, April 30, 2012 at Ray & Martha's Chapel.
Services: 10:00 Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at the First Christian Church, Hobart, OK
with burial to follow in the Gotebo Cemetery, Gotebo, OK under the directions of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Hobart, OK
