Kenneth Wayne Smith, 72, of Hobart, OK. passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2014, in the Elkview General Hospital. He was born August 30, 1941, in Yuma, Arizona to Monroe Jackson Sr. and Martha Ann (Burch) Smith. He grew up in Carnegie. Kenneth married Delores on June 4, 1990 and she preceded him in death. He lived in Ada before moving to Hobart. He was a Baptist and a farmer.
Survivors include his two daughters: Tine Marie Levett and husband Shawn, Burns Flat, OK
and Regina
three sisters: Joyce Smith, Bradley, OK
Ruby Black, Hobart, OK
Judy Evans, Binger, OK
six grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Delores, two brothers, Monroe Jackson Jr. and Tommy Ray Smith and two sisters, Irene Kilpatrick and Billie Davis.
There will be a viewing at the funeral home from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 and
cremation to follow.
