Kenneth Carl Myers

Mr. Myers was born March 30, 1935 in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma to John and Maude (Stratton) Myers. He was called Home by the Lord on Saturday, August 27, 2016 in Anadarko.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, J.F. Myers, Earl Myers, O.W. Myers, Robert Myers, and Cecil "Red" Myers, sisters-in-law Lucille Myers, Wanda Myers, Madeline Myers, and granddaughter Shae Simmons,
Kenneth attended the Antondale school south of Anadarko. He was a long time employee of Harper Oil, and a farmer.
Kenneth enjoyed his grandkids and great-grandkids. He had a special nickname for everyone. He had special songs he would sing to them.
Survivors include his wife, Susie of the home; two sons, Mark Myers and his wife, Carolyn, of Anadarko, Perry Myers and his wife, Shirley, of Cyril, two daughters, Tamra Simmons of Sapulpa, and Shannon Harrison and husband, Ed, of Cement one step-daughter Karen Black and husband Steve of Anadarko; Eleven grandchildren, Maci Turner, Steven Myers, Megan Myers, Lea Meason, Kristin Myers, Patrick O'Malley, Colt Simmons, Kimber Harris, Devin Harrison, Ray Harrison, and Nick Harrison; ten great-grandchildren, Casen, Daven, Makenzie, Carley, Ainsley, Bradley, Keenan, Brooklyn, Sydney, and Blaze; two brothers, Raymond Myers and his wife, Leola, of Rush Springs, and Herman Myers and his wife, Onella , of Anadarko; sisters-in-law Patricia "Pat" Myers, Ann Myers, and Verna Faye Myers, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
Special appriciation to Staff of Silvercrest Nursing Home and Lifeline Home Health and Hospice.
Visitation will be held Monday, 9:00a.m. to 8:30p.m.
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2:00p.m. at Virginia Avenue Baptist Church, Anadarko, OK
Interment to follow at Memory Lane Cemetary Anadarko, OK
