Kenneth "Bill" Jones

Kenneth "Bill" Jones, 92, of Cordell, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on January 21, 2022, at the Cordell Christian Home in Cordell, Oklahoma. He was born on February 1, 1929, to Felix and Mary (Treadway) Jones in Cowden, Oklahoma. Bill grew up and attended school in Cowden and graduated from Cowden High School in 1948. He met Frieda Merrill, his high school sweetheart, and they were united in marriage on August 7, 1949, at Frieda's parents' home in Cowden, Oklahoma. To this union were born three sons, Ken, Nick, and Steve and later gained three wonderful daughters-in-law, Suzie, Leah, and Michele. Bill spent his working life farming with Frieda right by his side. He bought his first 160 acres at the age of seventeen from his Grandfather Treadway. Bill lost the love of his life on September 25th, 2019. They had been married for seventy years. He was a good man and loved people, and he had many friends. He was a very diligent worker and never complained. Bill will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Great Grandchildren: McKenzie and Carrigan Crockett, Kord and Kal Jones, Cooper, Wyatt and Ally Jones, Emerson and Oran Jones, Emrie Jones, and Avereigh Black
Numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
