Kenneth Ray Hightower

Kenneth "Sandy" Hightower passed away at his home October 7th, 2017 in Anadarko, Oklahoma at the age of 70. Kenny was born May 19, 1947 to Curtis L. Hightower and Odessa Louise (Gardner) Johnson in Anadarko, Oklahoma. Kenny was an Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. Kenny was a Meat Cutter until his retirement. Kenny was a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Anadarko where he served as one of the trustees. He was also a member of the DAV and the African American Veterans Group of Washington State. Kenny was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. Kenny was a very fun loving and giving person. He loved children and was known in the neighborhood as Uncle Kenny. He was also a devoted supporter of the Anadarko Warriors and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Ozella Hightower of the home.

Special nieces, Shonna George, Tiffanee Montgomery, and Brandi Williams
7 Grandchildren
9 great grandchildren
Numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Doris Hardiman and Joyce Montgomery, grandmothers, Jessie Blaine and Ida Hightower and his step father Embry B. Johnson.
