Kemp Ray Hardiman

December 14, 1945 — January 28, 2014

Kemp Ray Hardiman went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 28, 2014. Services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the Greater First Baptist Church in Anadarko. His laughter will be remembered by all of his family and friends.

Kemp was born on December 14, 1945 to Betty Polly and Richard Hardiman in Ralls, Texas.
He attended public schools in Oklahoma City and Anadarko. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1968 and received an honorable discharge in 1971.Kemp worked for Nicoli's restaurant and ABM Janitorial Services in Anadarko.

He was a faithful member of the Greater First Baptist Church until his health began to fail. He was a member of the Brotherhood and loved singing in the choir.

Kemp was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Trent Hightower and Richard Hardiman, two brothers, Charles and Richard Hardiman, paternal grandparents, maternal grandmother, Katherine Walker and maternal great-grandmother, Minnie Ford.

Survivors include his loving and caring wife, Louise, of the home, one Aunt, Olivia Walker, two Uncles, Jessie Walker and Billy Jenkins, of Anadarko, sisters, Barbara Quiles (Michael) of Georgia, Brenda Byrd, Freda Hill, Evelyn Polly and Alberta Abonaya, all of Oklahoma City, brothers, Randy Hardiman, Eddie Polly and Kenneth Polly, of Oklahoma City, daughters, Kelia Hardiman and Kim Bruner, step-daughters, Michele Hooks and Sheila Bruner, step-sons, Tony Bruner Gerald Bruner, Tim Miller of Oklahoma City and Perry Miller of North Carolina, a special nephew, Charles Hardiman who Kemp helped raise, special cousins who were like sisters, Ruthie Jackson of Colorado Springs, CO, Wanda Jean Montey of Parker, CO and Shirley Bradley of Lynwood, WA, 12 grandchildren, a special friend, Teddy Hightower and his wife, Narcissa, for their many acts of kindness, and a host of other relatives and friends.
