Kelsey R Mundell

June 3, 1948 — April 3, 2024

Kelsey "Rick" R. Mundell passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at the VA Center in Lawton, Oklahoma at age 75. He was born on June 3, 1948, to Lloyd & Bertie Mundell in Stigler, OK. Kelsey married Florence 'Flori' Lauderdale on March 9, 1968, in Glendora, California, and together they had 3 children. He proudly served in the Navy alongside his brothers from 1968 to 1973. He also worked for the City of Lawton & the City of Yukon as a Mechanical Inspector. In his spare time, he loved to fish at Fort Cobb Lake with his kids and grandkids. He was also an avid hunter and will be missed dearly by many family and friends.
Kelsey is survived by two sons Richard Alan Mundell and his wife Kami, Smithville, TN, and Kelsey Reed Mundell II and his wife Mary, Saucier, MS. Seven Grandchildren Charles Cantu, Anthony Cantu, Andrew Tewell, Savanah Murphy and Michael Murphy, Sydney Haywood and Dawson Haywood, Kelsey Reed Mundell III, and Austyn Mundell. As well as two great-grandchildren Harlee Cantu and Lillian Murphy.
He was preceded in death by his wife Florence Mundell, parents Lloyd & Bertie Mundell, daughter Marsha Mundell, and brothers Dan & Mike Mundell.
