Kelly Dee Ray, 44, of Carnegie, OK passed away April 10, 2013. He was born to Jerry Ray and Treva Lokey Black in Weatherford, OK. During the first few years of his life, he was raised on a farm outside Eakly, and attended Elementary School their until 1976. He then at the age of seven moved with his family to Carnegie where he attended Carnegie Schools. At the age of sixteen in 1985 he moved back to Eakly and attended Eakly High School. After High School, Kelly moved back to Carnegie, and for a brief time he worked in the oil field near Elk City. Kelly accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at his personal Savior when he was in high school and was baptized at Oakdale Missionary Baptist Church. Kelly enjoyed doing volunteer work in Carnegie at the New Beginning Fellowship Soup Kitchen, where he also attended church services. He was very skilled in oil field work, carpentry, and general labor. Through out his life he was well known for mowing lawns around Carnegie. Kelly was a good natured easy going, witty, fun loving man with a willing heart. He enjoyed lending a helping hand, cracking jokes and always has a smile on his face. He had many friends and family who loved him and will greatly miss him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Keith Black, his maternal grandparents, Claude and Maurine Lokey, his paternal grandparents, Ira and Ruth Ray and one cousin, Todd Lokey.
