Keith Kelley, 59, of Mangum, Oklahoma passed away unexpectedly on May 15th, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born on November 5th, 1959 to Byron B. Kelley and Mary Kay (Moore) Kelley in Mangum, Oklahoma. Keith grew up and attended school in Mangum, graduating from Mangum High School in 1978. After high school Keith went to Okmulgee State University to get certified as a Diesel Mechanic. After college he went to work in the Oil Field in Northern Oklahoma and he also worked for Gypsum. He loved going deep sea fishing with his family. Keith enjoyed many things with his family. He was 11 years old in Port Aransas and his dad Byron told the captain of the boat that he would like to take Keith on the boat to catch a fish in the Gulf of Mexico. He caught a 42 lb King Mackerel that was about 18 inches longer than he was tall. This was the highlight of Keith's life. In 1990 the family started going fishing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico where he caught a 200 lb Marlin on the bow of the boat. He had to work himself to the back of the boat to get in the fighting chair. Keith really enjoyed Deep Sea Fishing. He also enjoyed going to Sante Fe and eating Hot Green Chile Enchiladas for breakfast. Keith will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
