Kathryn Garton

Kathryn Garton, 68, of Mountain View, OK passed away Wednesday, April 18th, 2012 at the Carnegie Tri-County Municipal Hospital in Carnegie, OK. She was born April 3rd, 1944 to Irvin and Lela (Morrison) Rackley in Carnegie, OK. Kathryn was raised in Mountain View and graduated in 1962 from Mountain View High School. She lived in Joplin, MO from 1972-1996 and worked for Ferguson Medical Laboratory. She moved back to Mountain View and returned to teaching in 1999. Kathryn was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mountain View, OK.

Survivors include one daughter, Jodi Boucher, Mountain View, OK
one son, Greg Garton and wife, Cindy, Joplin, MO
three grandchildren, Coatney Boucher, Caleb Garton and Alex Garton
three brothers, Audie Rackley and wife, Willie, Amarillo, TX
Barton Rackley and wife, Elmyrta, Mountain View, OK
Emmet Rackley and wife Susan, Stillwater, OK
one sister, Freda Brisman and husband, Leon, Denton, TX

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Kevin Joe and one sister, Carolyn

Funeral Services: 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 20, 2012 at the First Baptist Church, Mountain View, OK
Burial will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery
under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Mountain View
