Kate Fobes

Kate Fobes, 95, of Mountain View, Oklahoma passed away peacefully with family by her side on December 30th, 2019 at the Corn Heritage Village in Corn, Oklahoma. She was born on March 9th, 1924 to Robert Alexander and Sallie (Courtney) Epps in the family home at Mountain View, Oklahoma. Kate grew up and attended school in Mountain View. In August of 1939 she married W.J. Fobes, and to this union was born one son, Jimmy. She spent most of her life working on the farm and taking care of her family. Kate was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mountain View. She enjoyed working outside in her flowerbeds and garden, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Kate will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Preceded in death by her Parents: Robert and Sallie Epps, Husband: W.J. Fobes, Son: Jimmy Fobes, 5 Sisters, 1 Brother and numerous other family members.
