Joye Raye (Adkins) Mahoney, 84, of Hobart, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on December 4, 2021 in Snyder, Oklahoma. She was born on September 14, 1937 to Oscar Ovie and Eva Mae (Rogers) Adkins in Mayesville, Oklahoma. She grew up and attended Carmen High School. On July 3, 1954 she married the love of her life, Paul Mahoney in her hometown Carmen, OK. Joye and Paul were both long time members of the First Baptist Church, Hobart. She first started working at Tyler's Gifts, then later she worked at Hobart High School as an Aide for 22 years, retiring in 2004. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Joye will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Brother-in-law: Albert Mahoney, Hobart, OK
She is preceded in death by: husband, Paul Mahoney; father, Ovie Adkins; mother & stepfather, Eva and Lester Solf; 3 infant sons; sisters, Mildred Hardman and Shirley Magner; brothers, Charles Adkins and Tom Adkins.
Joye wished for memorials to be made to the Malawi Clinic or Malawi Project.
