Joseph Clinton Meyers

Joseph Clinton Meyers Sr. was born on May 7, 1929 to Louie Victor and Lelia Irene (Stewart) Meyers in Cooperton, OK. Joe passed away at Elkview General Hospital in Hobart on Sunday, March 20th, 2011 after a brief illness. Joe was a farmer, rancher and cattleman his entire life in Cooperton Valley. He loved to play pitch and played in the National Pitch Tournament with Sharon Springs, KS for 52 year. Joe was also very proud to be a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Mountain View Masonic Lodge, #168.
Joe was married in 1954 to Phyllis (Tchida) Robertson. To this union three children were born, Robert, Teresa and Joseph Jr. Joe married Wanda ( Mapp) Granger in 1972 and gained 3 more children, Buddy, Kim and Doneta. He loved all his children and enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
