Joseph Antone Hebensperger

Joe Hebensperger, 99, Hobart, OK passed away, Saturday, March 16th, 2013 at Hobart Living Center. He was born south of Hobart, March 25, 1913 to Xavier and Johanna (Braun) Hebensperger. He attended school at Babbs School and was in the Babbs School Fire, 1924 and was the last known survivor of the fire. He has farmed south of Hobart most of his life and was a custom harvester for over fifty years. He was member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Hobart, OK. Joe was an avid domino player.

Survivors include four sons:

Jim Hebensperger, Hobart, OK
Dick and Terry Hebensperger, Hobart, OK
John and Allene Hebensperger, Hobart, OK
ten Grandchildren: Kenny, Penny, Kemmie, Pat, Ann, Mark, Jody, Shelby, Stuart and Simon
nine Great-Grandchildren
two Great-Great-Grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Shirley Ann, four brothers, Xavier, Paul, Albert, John and two sisters, Helen and Pauline.

Visitation with the Family: 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2013 at Ray & Martha's Chapel, Hobart, OK

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 19, 2013
Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Hobart, OK
Burial to follow in the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Hobart, OK
Under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Hobart, OK
