Joseph Bryant Gray, 71, was born on August 25, 1946 and passed away on December 10th, 2017 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.
Joe was born to Bobby Lee and Billie Jean (Petty) Gray on August 25th, 1946 in Mangum, Oklahoma.
Joe graduated from Mangum High School in 1964 and earned his Bachelor's Degree form Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
Joe was married to Beverly Walker of Duke, OK and had one son, David Lee Gray of Mangum.
He married Alice Avery in 1982 and they spent the next 35 years together.
He was preceded in death by his parents Bobby and Billie Gray, and is survived by his wife Alice of the home, his son David and wife Marie Gray of Mangum, Oklahoma, his granddaughter Danika Lynn of Mangum, Oklahoma, sister Patti Gray Eaton and husband David of Lantana, TX, his nephew Phillip and wife Jill Paxton of Oklahoma City, OK, his niece Jennifer Paxton of Richardson, TX as well as several great-nieces and nephews, and his two stepsons, Joe Wayne Avery of Mangum, Oklahoma, and Mike Avery of Cordell, Oklahoma.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from 9 AM until 7PM at Ray and Martha's Funeral Home in Mangum, with family to receive friends from 6 PM to 7PM.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 13 at 10AM at the First Baptist Church in Mangum, with interment to follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery.
