Joe Clark, 81, of Hobart, OK, passed away on Wednesday, December 28th, 2011 in Elkview General
Hospital in Hobart. He was born March 24, 1930, in Temple, OK to Isom Gordon and Verna Lou (Vaughn) Clark. He attended school in Hobart and was a member of the Oklahoma 45th Division and served in Korea. Joe married Pat Jones on February 8, 1954 in Holdenville, OK. He was on the Hobart City Council for 10 years and was acting mayor several times for Mayor A. C. Aker. Joe was a circulation director for several newspapers. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.

1 son, Joseph Taylor Clark and wife Kelly, The Colony, TX
2 grandchildren: Virginia Kathryn Clark and Joseph (Heath) Clark, both of The Colony, TX
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Vaughn Gordon Clark and sister-in-law, Lucille and sister, Jane Medley and brother-in-law, Jack.
