Johnny Bob Blankinship

Johnny Bob Blankinship age 85 was born on the Waggoner Ranch July 31, 1935, near Vernon, Texas to Florence and Horace Blankinship. John grew up in Frederick, Oklahoma, where he received his education. He was united in marriage to Leola Barker in 1954 from this union 3 children were born, Mark, Kristi, and Jimmy. John later moved to Chula Vista, California, where he met and married Helen Waltz and son, Billy Raines in 1970.
John was baptized in 1978 and attended the Washington Street Baptist Church in Hobart, where he was a Sunday school teacher, usher, and volunteer. He loved his church family. John was a member of the Butchers Union and was a Oklahoma State Meat Inspector until his retirement. He loved fishing and exploring with his like a brother friend R.T. Jarvis. John was a very happy person and had many friends and family who will miss him greatly.

Preceded in death by his Parents, Wife: Helen, Brother: Elree, Sons: Mark and Billy, Grandson: Zachary Williams, and Son-in-law: Dr. Earl McCullough.

The family has decided to have a celebration of life for John in the spring, hoping the virus will be under control.
