Johnnie Arther Netherton Sr, passed away on November 2, 2023, surrounded by his family in Oklahoma City, OK. Johnnie was born on September 2, 1938, to John Alfred & Mamie (McGlathery) Netherton, in Oakdale, Oklahoma. He met & married the love of his life, Carolyn Smith, on November 11, 1966, in Clinton, OK. Johnnie was a man of remarkable wisdom. His advice and guidance were sought after by many, and he had a way of imparting knowledge that left a lasting impact. Whether it was offering a pearl of wisdom or providing a listening ear, Johnnie was known for his sage advice that brought clarity and comfort to those around him. Johnnie was also celebrated for his sharp wit and sense of humor. His laughter was contagious, and his clever quips and anecdotes could light up any room. He had a unique ability to find humor in life's everyday situations and make even the most mundane moments memorable. Johnnie's family was the center of his world, and he took immense pride in watching his children and grandchildren grow and succeed. He will be dearly missed by all who knew & loved him.
