John "Buddy" Wright

John Kenneth (Buddy) Wright Sr., 89, of Hobart, Oklahoma passed away on January 17, 2021 at the Elkview General Hospital. He was born on September 24, 1931 to Harold Robert and Grace Beatrice (Kelly) Wright in Carnegie, Oklahoma. Buddy grew up and attended school in Carnegie and graduated from Carnegie High School in 1949. He met and married Vera Bea Driscoll in September 1951 and had 3 sons. He met and married Jerrildine Miller Zimmerman on October 26, 2013 in Mountain View, Oklahoma. Buddy owned and operated NAPA Auto Parts, The Flower Shop and sold Insurance. He worked as a Carpenter building 4 homes in the area and worked for Ray & Martha's Funeral Home for over twelve years. Buddy had his pilot's license and enjoyed flying. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mountain View. In his spare time Buddy loved golfing, fishing, and playing marbles. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his co-workers at Ray & Martha's Funeral Home.

Preceded in death by his Parents: Harold Robert and Grace Beatrice Wright, Wife Vera Bea Wright, Son: Dudley Robin Wright, 2 Brothers and 2 Sisters.
