John M. Terry, 88, Hobart, passed away on March 19, 2014 in Hobart, Oklahoma. He was born on January 24, 1926, to John R. and Lucille (Pribble) Terry in Hobart, Oklahoma. J.M. attended Sentinel Schools. He married Ruth Harrell on July 8, 1944 in Hobart, Oklahoma. J.M. joined the U.S. Army and served in the World War II. He was on the Excise Board of Kiowa County for several years, also served on the Co-Op Gin Board. J.M. owned and operated Terry's Electric Heat and Air for many years, and was a farmer by trade.
He is survived by his wife Ruth, of the home

one daughter: Rhonda Davis and husband Don, Tulsa, OK
four grandsons: Jonathan Terry and wife Carrie, David Terry,
Sean Davis and wife Katie, and Kyle Davis and wife Lorena.
three great grandchildren: Isaac Terry, Reid Terry, Ella Davis
one sister: Mary Bryant, Odessa TX
He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother Gilbert Terry, two sisters Estelle Straub and Betty Smith.
Family will meet friends at the Funeral Home on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 6 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
