John Kevin Owen

John Kevin Owen, 56 of Anadarko, OK passed away April 19,2020.
He was born to Bobby and Christina Owen in Anadarko, OK
John was raised in Anadarko, OK and graduated from Anadarko High School in 1982.
After graduation he joined the United States Marine Corps
where he served for six years. John was extremely proud to be a Marine and still to this day flys his "Don't tread on me" flag in his yard. Semper Fi

John married Mary Elaine Smith and they had two children Dale and Ashley Owen.
John worked as a butcher all of his life. He was employed by Safeway, Homeland and Buy for Less.
John later married Shaney Shaw and they had a son Johnathon Stuart Owen.
John grew up attending the Virginia Avenue Baptist Church where he accepted Christ as his savior at the age of 11. Later he joined the First Baptist Church of Anadarko, OK.
If you knew John he loved to joke around and have fun. If he was giving you a hard time you knew he cared about you. John loved history, OU football, NASCAR, making models and in his younger years he enjoyed painting.
