John Allen Hammock, 65, of Monticello, AR passed away on Tuesday, January 10,
2017, in Anadarko, OK. He was born September 7, 1952 in Warren, AR to Alford and
Bertie M. Hammock. John married Jobyna Fern (Kauahquo) Hammock on November 21, 1984. John worked several years as a mechanic on oil and gas exploration teams throughout Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, West Virginia, and Colorado.
Later on in life he moved to Lawton, OK and worked with Miller Distributing Company. He started as a delivery truck driver and later became a supervisor for the company.
Survivors include his wife, Jobyna Fern Hammock
Daughters: Kimberly K. Dailey and her husband Darren
Allison Jean
Chris Williams and her husband Doug
Grandchildren: Eric J. Ahtone, Randi L. Dailey, Damond D. Dailey, Jackson Burghart
Brothers: Lonnie Hammock and wife Teresa
Ronnie Hammock
Great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents: John Alford and Bertie M. Hammock and one sister, Patricia Diane (Hammock) Sanson
