John Wesley Ferguson, 54, passed away on Friday, February 5, 2016, at his home in Hobart, Oklahoma. He was born on March 29, 1961, in Paragon, Indiana to William and Stella (White) Ferguson. John married Tracy Hess on February 25, 1983, in Lone Wolf, Oklahoma. He worked at SKF as an engineering Technician. John was a member of the Church of the First Born. He loved the faith and the brethren. He was active in the ministry and enjoyed visiting on the scriptures. He was baptized when he was 13 in Morgantown, Indiana. John had many life long friends in the church over the past 40 years. John started coaching in 1983 for Little League Baseball, he was able to coach all three of his sons and so many more young men throughout the years. He was also a Tae Kwon Do instructor for several years in Cordell and Hobart, he held a 3rd degree Black Belt. John was very active in Bearcat sports over the years. He kept statistics and worked for the radio during football, basketball, and baseball games.
John also enjoyed playing music and singing. He started playing the guitar when he was 14. He was involved in Musical Theater and plays through the Shortgrass Playhouse for a few years. John enjoyed going fishing with his boys from the time they were little. Being involved in church and sports everywhere he lived was a big part of who he was and why he was so loved.

He was preceded in death by his parents William and Stella Ferguson, grandparents John and Orphe White, and Walter and Ermine Ferguson, one grandson Rhett William Ferguson
