John Louis Carpenter

John Louis Carpenter, 48, of Hobart, Oklahoma passed away unexpectedly on March 30, 2020 at his home. Born December 1st, 1971 to Robert and Monique Carpenter in Phoenix, Arizona, John grew up and attended school in Arizona, graduating from Apollo High School in 1990. After high school, he attended Glendale Community College and Northern Arizona University. John married his high school sweetheart, Raegie Collins, on June 14th, 1996 in Peoria, Arizona. They moved to Hobart in 2002 to be near Raegie's family, where he worked for many years as the Vocational Director at Searchlight. John enjoyed sports, golf in particular, but he especially enjoyed coaching his son and cheering him on from the sidelines with a proud smile on his face.



He is survived by his wife Raegie, son Brady and mother-in-law Shirley Linville of Hobart, OK, his parents Robert and Monique Carpenter, sister Joy Fuller, brother-in-law Patrick and niece and nephew from Phoenix, AZ, as well as many extended family and friends. His quick smile and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
