Joe Howell, 71, of Carnegie, OK passed away Sunday, November 11th, 2012 in Carnegie, OK. He was born June 30th, 1941 to Herman and Muriel (Raby) Howell in Gilbert, AZ. He moved to Carnegie in 1941 and attended Carnegie schools. Joe joined the United States Army and served in the Korean Conflict. After the war, he lived in Oklahoma City and resided there for thirty years, and worked as a cabinet maker. He then moved back to Carnegie in 1995. Joe was a member of the First Baptist Church in Carnegie, OK. He was also a great coon hunter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Don Curtis.
