Joe Dee Brooks

Joe Dee Brooks, 62, Tulsa and formerly of Hobart, passed away in Tulsa on Thursday, January 6, 2011. Joe was born December 13, 1948 in Granite, OK to Claude and Faye (Godfrey) Brooks. He had lived in Hobart most of his life and worked at Highland Supply for many years. Joe served in Vietnam with the U.S. Army. He moved to Tulsa in 1997. Joe was a Christian and a member of the Church at Battlecreek in Tulsa. He enjoyed spending time with family, camping, fishing, horseshoes, collected antiques and loved animals. He was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Oklahoma State.

John Brooks and wife Crystal, Sand Springs, OK
Joe Brooks and wife Elizabeth, Catoosa, OK
James and Micha Brooks, Skiatook, OK
5 Grandchildren: Brittany, Emily, Hayden, Gavin & Amberlyn
3 brothers: Bill, Jim & Tom Brooks, all of Hobart, OK
2 sisters: Kathy Fulton and husband, Hobart, OK
Carolyn Stephens and husbnad Russell , Hobart, OK
numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Jack, John & Charles and an infant daughter, Yvonne Annette

Burial will follow in the Hobart Rose Cemetery under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Hobart, OK
