Jodie W Hines

Jodie Wesley Hines, 84, of Cordell, Oklahoma passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on May 29, 2023. He was born on April 16, 1939 to Les and Rosa (Turney) Hines in Cordell, Oklahoma. Jodie married Margaret Smith on July 2, 1960 in Cordell, Oklahoma. To this union were born four children: RoseAnn, Jim, Karen, and Don. He loved driving his 1939 Allis Chalmers tractor in Sentinel's 4th of July Parade and the Gotebo Get Down Parade every year. Jodie loved tinkering on cars and on any kind of motor, he was the jack of all trades. Jodie did all the construction work in his daughters house and his property at the lake. If it was broke he could always figure out a way to fix it, whatever it was. He loved sitting in his recliner drinking a coke and smoking his pipe. A simple man simple laid to rest. Jodie did all things his way. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
