Joann Thompson

Joann Thompson, 79, of Mountain View, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born on June 4, 1944, to James Andrew and Katherine (Kelly) Jones in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Joann grew up in Spencer and graduated from Star Spencer High School in 1962. She worked at First National Bank in Oklahoma City for several years. Joann owned and operated her own Beauty Shop. She married Don Thompson in June of 1987 in Mountain View, Oklahoma. She worked at First National Bank in Mountain View for a while and then worked for the City of Mountain View as City Clerk. Joann loved being with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
