Joann Allard

Joann Allard, 87, Wichita Falls, TX, former Hobart resident, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2014, in Hobart, OK. She was born on May 6, 1927, in Hobart, OK, to Austin Beatty and Vella (Smith) Nance. Joann graduated Roosevelt High School in 1945. She married Cecil Wayne Allard on December 9, 1945 in Vernon, Texas. After leaving Hobart, Joann and Cecil resided in the Texas Panhandle and Hobbs, New Mexico. Joann worked at General Telephone company, retiring in 1986, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by her two sons: Steven Wayne Allard, Wichita Falls, TX
Thomas Lynn Allard, Watauga, TX
five grandchildren
six great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Cecil Wayne Allard, one infant son Larry Jo Allard, two sisters Billie Nance Stockton and Ruth Nance Allred.
