Joan E Williams

Joan E. Williams, 86, of Eakly, Oklahoma passed away December 2nd, 2016.
She was born west of the Myers Store in the old farm house on August 27th, 1930 to Frank and Carrie Ida (Lawrence) Lasley.

Joan attended school 7 years at Hopewell School, North of Eakly, she was baptized at Lake Creek at the age of twelve and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Eakly. Joan attended High School in Eakly, graduating with the class of 1949.She attended Oklahoma College for Women for 1 year, there she met the love of her life Don G. Williams and were Married at the Alex Methodist Church on February 17, 1950. They spent 2 years in Alex then moved to Eakly. Joan loved being a Homemaker, farmers wife, and taking care of others, especially her family.

Preceded in death by husband, Don; son, Barney Williams, grandson Brady Stocking, and parents Frank & Carrie Lasley.

Funeral services for Joan will be Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Eakly, Oklahoma

Visitation: Sunday, December 4, 2016 from 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Carnegie, Oklahoma.
Monday, December 5, 2016 from 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM at Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Carnegie, Oklahoma.
