Joan Johnston

Joan Johnston, 88, of Hobart, Oklahoma, passed on to her heavenly home on March 10, 2024. She was born on April 30, 1935, to Floyd W. and Ola M. (Clark) Johnston in the Lake Valley - Gotebo area. Joan grew up and attended school in Lake Valley, graduating from Lake Valley High School in 1953. After high school Joan worked as a Legal Secretary for approximately 50 years for the John Montgomery Law Office. She had a passion for studying scripture, and a joy for gardening. Joan will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.


Survivors include: Gary and Donna Johnston and their four children; Greg and Beth Johnston and their three children; Jeff and Lena Johnston and their son in addition to many great and grand nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her Parents: Floyd and Ola Johnston, Brothers: Floyd Johnston and Don Johnston & wife Malone, and Nephew: Darrell Johnston.
