Joan Chiddix

Bobbie Joan Chiddix, 87, of Mountain View, Oklahoma passed away May 1, 2018. She was born on January 29th,1931, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Ellsworth Austin and Annie Alberta (Campbell) Dexter. She attended school at Lawton High. Joan married Donald Lee Chiddix on November 9, 1949, in Lawton, Oklahoma. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mountain View. She enjoyed cross stitching any time she had a chance. She loved her family dearly.

She is survived by her son Earl Chiddix and wife Bev of Elkhart, Kansas,
daughters: Leona Funk and husband Dwayne of Clinton, Oklahoma,
Patricia Lightfoot of Weatherford, Oklahoma,
grandchildren: Jennifer Topliff and husband Adam, of Wamego, Kansas,
Heather Carter of Uylsses, Kansas,
Allison Chiddix of Elkhart, Kansas,
Marisa Evans and husband Zack of Elkhart, Kansas,
Lindsay Alvarado and husband Salvador of Elkhart, Kansas,
Nathan Funk of Parker, Colorado,
Jesse Funk and wife Tiffany of Mustang, Oklahoma,
Vangie Rodriguez and husband Roman of Wichita, Kansas,
Tiffaney Sharp and husband Aaron of Little Rock, Arkansas,
Joshua Bo Lightfoot and wife Tove of Weatherford, Oklahoma ,
Bonnie Cannon and husband Sam of Spring, Texas,
one sister Alberta Alandzes, Lawton, Oklahoma,
21 great-grandchildren as well as numerous other relatives.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Don Chiddix, brothers: L.A. Dexter, Bill Dexter, LeRoy Dexter, and baby Ruth Ann.
