Jimmy Ray Belding, 75, long-time Hobart resident, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2010. He was born September 27, 1934 in Roosevelt, OK to Keller and Bernice (Allred) Belding. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1954. Jimmy served two years in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He was a meat inspector for the State of Oklahoma for seven years and farmed. Jimmy married Earlene Hinz on December 29, 1975 and she preceded him in death on January 13, 2009. He was a Kiowa County Commissioner for 16 years. He was a trucker for 30 years and has been retired for 10 years.
