Jimmie Kay Osborne, 86, of Cordell, Oklahoma passed away on August 25th, 2022 in Oklahoma City with her family by her side.
Kay was born in Cordell to James and Gertha Molen on November 25th, 1935. She was a graduate of Cordell High School and attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She was self-employed for most of her life before enjoying retirement.
Kay was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Cordell. She enjoyed playing the game of bridge with her girlfriends, traveling with friends and family, shopping, watching sports-especially little league baseball, and spending time with family. She will be remembered for her outspoken mind, strong will, quick wit, and desire to love and serve others.
Kay is survived by her daughter Jeri Dawson and son-in-law Larry Dawson, son Ken Boggs; four grandchildren, Susan Batt, Kim Batt, Brandi Owen and husband Mike Owen, and Clayton Boggs; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Kylee, Jayce, Lauren, Lacey, McKenzy, Emma, and Parker; three great-great-grandchildren, Lane, Krayson, and Ella; best friends Delores and Brenda, and many, many friends.
Kay is preceded in death by her parents, James and Gertha; daughter Janie; and best friends, Jerry �Doc', and Sherrill.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, August 29th at Lawnview Cemetery in Cordell led by Pastor Terrell Romberg.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The First Baptist Church of Cordell in honor of Kay.
