Jessie Dell Greer, 80, of Gracemont, was born September 6, 1933, in Fort Cobb to Joseph and Lennie (Ford) McDonald. She passed from this life on December 2, 2013 in Oklahoma City.
Jessie grew up in Carnegie and Anadarko and attended Anadarko High School. On January 12, 1950, she married Bobby Vernon Greer in Gracemont where they made their home. She worked at the Tastee-Freez, the Anadarko Greenhouse and for Brower's Grocery.
She loved canning making jelly, pickles and peanut patties. Jessie made the best peanut brittle and fudge EVER.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, Bobby; one brother J.C. and two sisters, Betty Gage and Ruth Trotter.
Survivors include, two sons, Clifton Greer and wife Jo of Cyril and Michael Greer of Gracemont; a daughter, Janell Gilliland of Anadarko; five grandchildren, Alesha White of Norman, Ashley Mikkanen and husband, Brandon of Anadarko, Triston Greer of Apache, Jacob Greer of Tulsa and Tricia Bunnell of Anadarko; seven great- grandchildren, Chloe and Kylie Pierce , Thomas and Mac Mikkanen , and Mykenzi, Cydny and Gavin Bunnell all of Anadarko; four sisters, Xuma Schlegel and husband, Marvin, Francis Milam and husband, Sam, Linda Love and husband LeRoy and Katie Forster and husband, Larry all of Anadarko; two brothers, Benjamin McDonald and wife, Faye of Anadarko and Ford McDonald and wife, Janet of Ogden, Utah; a brother-in-law, Cecil Gage of Pink, Oklahoma and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including Kylan Eden, who called her MoMo.
