Jerry Lee Maddox, 75, Ft. Cobb, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2015, in Lawton, Oklahoma. He was born June 3, 1940 in Port, Oklahoma, to James and LaVonne (Tarlton) Maddox. Jerry graduated Colony High School in 1958. Jerry was united in marriage to Rebecca (Lawson) Maddox and 2 children were born to this union. In 1963 Jerry joined the United States Army and received training as a Heavy Vehicle Driver. While in the Army he received a citation as a Marksman and also the Good Conduct Medal. He was a truck driver for The Eakly Propane Company, Truitt Scott, Sylvan Scott where he hauled cattle, Truitt Butane, V.I. Corpus, and Lewis Mapp. He also worked for Gibson Implement. Jerry was later united in marriage to Mary (Newfield) Maddox on November 23, 1987 in Wichita Falls, Texas.
He is survived by his wife Mary Maddox, Ft. Cobb, OK
