Jerry Groves

Jerry Bruce Groves, 79, of Hobart, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2022, surrounded by family. He was born on June 15, 1943, in Hollis, Oklahoma to Homer and Omega (Hunter) Groves. Jerry attended Hobart High School and graduated in 1961. He married the love of his life, Shirley Parrish on September 14, 1963, in Hobart, Oklahoma. Together they had two children Brad and Tana. He served in the National Guard for 4 years upon graduating High school while working for Petty Spraying service . He later worked at TH Rogers Lumber Company as manager for 40 plus years until he retired in 2005. He enjoyed his family, golfing and spending time at his farm. Jerry was a volunteer reserve deputy under Sheriff Tommy Denton. Jerry will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Groves, of the home.
