Patty Kaubin, 73, of Carnegie, OK passed away Monday, December 17th, 2012. Patty is the eldest child born to Delos K. Lonewolf Botone and Florence Kittson Botone. Her paternal grandparents are Rev. Matthew and Rev. Hazel Lonewolf Botone. Maternal grandparents are Jerome and Mary Albertson Kittson. She is an enrolled member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma and Blackfeet descendant. Her Indian given name is Aheemah, meaning Cedar Woman. She attended Fort Cobb, Ok and Albuquerque, NM public schools and later received her GED in 1978, where she was recognized as being one of the Top Ten in the Nation for obtaining high scores on the test. She attended Western Oklahoma State College in Altus, OK where she obtained her AA Degree in Early Childhood Development while employed with the Kiowa Head start as the Health Coordinator. She was also employed with the Caddo Nation Head start and loved advocating for and working with children. Patty was a member and Chaplain of the Kiowa Victory Club, and also a board member for the Carnegie library. She is a well-known Kiowa bead worker who won numerous ribbons and awards. She demonstrated beadwork at different events across the Nation. She shared her culture by teaching her children and many others her bead working skills. She was an avid sports fan, she enjoyed playing, and watching her children and grandchildren compete in varies sports events, along with OU Football, the NFL and NBA. She had the honor of being selected over Reba McEntire to sing the "National Anthem" at Cheyenne Frontier Days "Daddy of them All" Rodeo where she would sing it each day to open the Rodeo. She would then open the evening Concerts for numerous famous Country and Western singers such as Johnny and June Cash, Eddie Rabbit, The Oak Ridge Boys, Loretta Lynne, Barbara Mandrel and Reba McEntire where she sang "The Lord's Prayer" while two Kiowa girls performed sign language. They would receive standing ovations each night from thousands of people. She always gave the glory to God for anointing her with a beautiful voice. Her greatest accomplishment was ministering and sharing the Gospel of the Lord as a youth and adult minister and a prayer warrior. While living in Valdosta, Georgia she had a Trouble Youth Mission for runaway youth from other states and there was as many as 20 twenty youth living at the mission.
She is survived by four daughters and two sons: Rosela Wilson and husband Aaron, of Shawnee, OK Billie Foreman of Anadarko, OK Owassa Davilla of the home Leonard Foreman of Carnegie, OK Simona Foreman of Anadarko, OK, Matthew Foreman and wife Alicia of Anadarko, OK twenty one grandchildren and twenty two great-grandchildren three brothers, Robert Botone and wife Debbie of Hurst, TX Barnie Botone and wife Merle of Bismarck, ND Frederick "Ricky" Botone and wife Amy of Albuquerque, NM
two sisters, Marjorie "Cissy" Ford of Albuquerque, NM Bonnie Holm and husband Dave of Colorado Springs, CO Numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Charles "Chan" Kaubin, son Kenneth "Cowboy" Foreman, granddaughter Kari Lynn Galindo and great grandson Zackary Wilson Enchel Brooks, Special Brother Bucky Boynton, and Special Sister Ruby Bell Tofpi Gayton.

Going Home service: 11:00a.m., Thursday, December 20, 2012
Both services will be held at Botone United Memorial Methodist Church, Carnegie, OK
burial will follow at Cedar Creek Cemetery, Carnegie, OK
under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Carnegie, OK
