Jeremiah E. Bauer, 78, passed away August 4th, 2016. He was born on September 11th, 1937 to Fred and Nettie (Dolby) Bauer in Lucinda, Pennsylvania. He was a hardworking man and worked many jobs in his lifetime. He served in the United States Air Force from 1954 to 1958 as an Air Craft Mechanic and Crew Chief. He worked as a bartender in Pennsylvania before moving on to work in the Oil Fields as a dozer operator in West Virginia. He spent 7 years as a bus driver in West Virginia, later working as a Trans & Diff Mechanic as an assistant supervisor for 10 years. He worked as a tractor trailer driver in California before retiring after 18 years with the City of Buckhannon, West Virginia as superintendent of waste collection in December 1998. He moved to Hobart, Oklahoma, in March of 1999, and remained there until his passing.
He is survived by his daughter Jill Baker, Petersburg, Virginia,
granddaughter Ashley Curtis, Bono, Arkansas,
great-grandson, Dylan Curtis, Bono, Arkansas,
granddaughter, Ariel Baker, Brooklyn, New York,
and grandson, Fred Baker IV, Chester, Virginia
