Jeffrey Thad Toyekoyah

Jeffrey Thad Toyekoyah, 38, of Carnegie, OK passed away May 30th, 2013. He was born January 26th, 1975 to Thad and Anita (Gomez) Toyekoyah in Lawton, OK. Jeff grew up in Carnegie, OK and attended and graduated from Carnegie High School in 1993. During his senior year, his basketball team made it to state. He was always proud of the fact they were forty eight and zero. Jeff was a great all around athlete. After graduating he attended Redlands Community College in El Reno. Jeff was a member of the Kiowa Tribe, and worked for the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma for many years for the A.O.A. He also enjoyed working with the Elders, and leaning the language and the ways of the Kiowa's. Jeff enjoyed fishing, playing softball, and was also known as "the best nanny ever". He enjoyed watching his nieces and nephews. Jeff was an avid OSU and Thunder fan.
