Jean Stowers, 87, of Retrop, Oklahoma passed away unexpectedly on December 3rd, 2018 at her home. She was born on September 19th, 1931 to Lloyd & Ester (Burnette) Flippin in Retrop, Oklahoma. Jean grew up and attended school in Retrop, Oklahoma and graduated from Retrop High School in 1949. After high school Jean attended Sayre Jr. College and played basketball. She married the love of her life, Lendell Stowers on December 27, 1963 in Sayre, Oklahoma. Jean was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sentinel, Oklahoma, she was the church treasurer for forty years, she also held many other offices. Jean loved watching OKC Thunder basketball, she also love being outside in her yard, but most of all she loved her family and her grandchildren. Jean will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
