Jean Glidewell, 72, of Hobart, OK passed away July 29th, 2012 at Integris Health Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was born on May 30th, 1940 in Decatur, Illinois to Elzie James and Dorothy (Tarvin) Brown. She married Ron Glidewell on November 18, 1961 and became a Hobart, OK resident. She and her husband owned the package store in Hobart for 13 years. Prior to that she worked at the Hobart Living Center and for the City of Hobart as a Police Dispatcher. Her love of life was golf, crocheting, ceramics, reading, and bowling. She loved animals, "dogs mostly", and being a Greeter at the First Presbyterian Church. Her favorite T.V. shows were Antique Roadshow, American Pickers, and The History Channel.

One sister, Judy Newby, Choctaw, Oklahoma

Nieces and Great nieces and great nephews
Preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Donald Dean Brown.
