Janis P Noel

November 2, 1950 — August 7, 2020

Janis Patricia Noel, 69, went to join her mama, daddy, brother, and all the rest of her loved ones in heaven on August 7th, 2020, in Chickasha, OK. She was born November 2nd, 1950 in Okarche, OK to Leo Noel and Patricia Toyebo Noel. All those who knew Janis were blessed by her kind and loving spirit. She was born as one of God's very special angels. She was pure at heart; she was able to love without condition and without restraint or reservation. She truly loved her Savior Jesus Christ with all of her innocence. She often would recite long prayers and include names of all those she could remember in detail and loved to sing along with Kiowa hymns and church songs. Janis showed others how to love without words, without limits, without reasons. Through her vulnerabilities as a special person, she gave us the gift of insight and showed us things we might otherwise have missed. She helped us to see the beautiful soul of her family. Her mother and father; the ones who bore her caretaking tasks in her younger days. It is a special kind of dedication that enables people to put their own lives on hold so they can do everything possible to care for their loved one. Janis grew up at Rainy Mountain, Toppenish, Washington, Muskogee, Oklahoma and spent her adult years in Anadarko, Oklahoma. Janis had her own special gifts and talents. In her younger days, she was able to learn skills such as cooking, baking and sewing and enjoyed these very much as hobbies. She doted on her collection of cats and her love for Beatles music. This love for cats and the Beatles continued throughout her life. She was THE Beatles number ONE fan.

Janis is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Milton "Bubba" Noel, uncles Luke Toyebo, Sr., Wayne and Lawrence Noel, aunt Mary Noel, her grandparents Milton and Maggie Toyebo and Edmund Cleveland Noel and Victoria Mathews Noel. She is survived by nieces, Crissy Noel and companion Clarissa Palmer, Julia Akemah Noel and companion George Allen Woodard, brothers, Timothy Tsoodle and Luke Toyebo, Jr., four sisters, Marguerite Lee, Mabel Cozad, Janet English, Sharon Hunter, and Monique Dodd, special aunts, Peggy Tsoodle and Delores Harragarra, JoAnn Brewer, Wanema Noel and Tressia Ables. Janis is also survived by and will be missed greatly by her brother Bubba's grandchildren; Aubrey Noel Martin and husband Brey, Lily Aliesse, Brother, Micah Grant, Kylee, and Jonathan Craig.

She will be laid to rest at her beloved Rainy Mountain cemetery, next to her parents and brother Bubba.

Although it is difficult at times such as this without the comfort of embrace, Janis' family respectfully requests that attendees to her graveside service wear a mask and adhere to safe and social distancing protocol.
