Janie Jo Bellah, 64, of Cordell, Oklahoma passed away unexpectedly at her home on August 28th, 2018. She was born on February 5th, 1954 to Kenneth Lee and Jimmie Kay (Molen) Boggs Osborne in Cordell, Oklahoma. Janie grew up and attended Cordell schools, graduating in 1972. She married Jackie Bellah on October 21, 1996 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Janie began working for the Washita County Assessor's office in 1980 and retired as the County Assessor in 2009.
Janie loved watching her grandkids play sports and was their number one fan. She was a committed Thunder fan as a season ticket holder generously taking family and friends to games. Janie and Jackie enjoyed spending time at Grand Lake and traveling to Branson, Missouri several times a year. Janie also enjoyed volunteering at the Washita County Fair and was inducted into the Washita County Free Fair Hall of Fame in 2012.
Janie is survived by her husband, Jackie of the home; mother Jimmie Kay Osborne of Cordell; two daughters, Kim Batt of Cordell, Susan Batt of Cordell; one sister Jeri Dawson (Larry) of Moore, Oklahoma; six grandchildren: Tyler Batt (Breanne Worley) of Cordell, Kylee Isbell of Alva, Oklahoma, Jayce Isbell of Beeville, Texas, Lauren Burch of Cordell, Lacey Burch of Cordell and McKenzy Isbell of Beeville, Texas; three great-grandchildren, Krayson Batt, Lane Batt and Colton Farrar all of Cordell. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews and other relatives. Janie is preceded in death by her father Kenneth Lee Boggs.
Janie's greatest joy was her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
