James Edward Scott

James Edward Scott 39 of Cordell was born November 8th, 1977, to Jimmy Lee Scott and Betty Ellis Scott and passed away November 22, 2016 in a trucking accident. James was raised in Cordell and attended school here. After school James pursued his dream and got his CDL licenses. On August 23, 2003 James married the love of his life, Kendra Schmidt. They made their home in Cordell, Oklahoma, where James got to pursue his passion of being a truck driver. He hauled for Plains. James was a very loving, caring and dependable husband and father. He will be missed by all who knew him.

James is survived by wife Kendra Scott of the home; Daughters: Brittany Schmidt, Laura Schmidt; Son: William "Billy" Scott; Mother: Betty Scott of Cordell; Father: Jim and wife Ellen Scott of Cordell; Brother: Thomas and wife Charlene Scott of Cordell; Sister Melinda Scott of Independence, Missouri and a host of other dear family and friends.

James is preceded in death by his grandparents and in-laws Kenneth and Sandra Schmidt.
