James "Red" Davis

James Harold "Red" Davis passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020 in the Carnegie Nursing Home. "Red" was born November 13, 1931 to Claude and Laura Cook Davis in Paris, Texas.
"Red" attended Cowden Public School graduating with the Class of 1952. After graduation "Red" was drafted into the Army. "Red" married Helen Mace June 16, 1956 in Mountain View, OK.
"Red" was a member of the First Baptist Church, Carnegie, OK. He was also a member of Gideons International. He loved fishing, animals, and gospel music.

Brother, Richard "Dick" Davis & wife Flo, Broxton, OK
Sister, Barbara Pinkston, Reno, NV.
Numerous nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.
Preceded in Death by his parents, sisters, Josie McLemore and Patsy, brothers, J. Davis, & Edward Davis,
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to either Gideon's International or Green Valley Cemetery.
