James Edward Nix

James Edward Nix passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020 at his home north of Carnegie, OK with his family by his side. Edward was born September 10, 1942 in Carnegie, OK to Alvin & Ouida Jennings Nix.

Edward attended Carnegie Public Schools graduating with the Class of 1960. After graduation Edward became an Oklahoma Highway Patrol serving Oklahoma for two years. He came back home and began working as the manager of the Farmers Coop Mill & Elevator for thirty-four years. He also farmed during that time. Edward enjoyed fishing, being with his family, and his dog, Raider.

Edward married Jane Harrison on January 3, 1998 in Wichita Falls, Texas.
