James Mitchell Lewis

James Mitchell Lewis, 92, of Sentinel, OK passed away on December 29, 2012 in the Hobart Living Center, Hobart, OK. He was born September 20, 1920 in Dallas County, TX to Henry Mitchell and Fannie Margaret (Lynch) Lewis. He owned and operated the Dallas Tree Service for many years in Dallas, TX. James loved to watch television ministries and had read the Bible through several times in his life. He was a hard worker and was devoted to his family.

Survivors include a sister, Norma Jean Holloway, Broaddus, TX
4 nieces including Beth Britton and husband Terry of Sentinel who were his caregivers
nephew - Howard Preston Lewis, Jr. and wife (Tammy) Tulsa, OK
2 great-nephews, Greg and David Britton and 1 great-niece, Jo Ann Davis and husband Ty, all of Sentinel, OK
1 great-great nephew, Kenneth Lane Britton

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Howard Preston Lewis Sr. and sister Mary Lou Ehrhardt.
