James Harold Duke passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at the Carnegie Tri County Municipal Hospital in Carnegie, Oklahoma. "Harold" was born October 27, 1933 in Snyder, Oklahoma to Virgil & Alice Carrol Duke.
Harold attended school in Gotebo, Oklahoma. Harold was drafted into the Army in 1954 and served until 1956. Most of his time was spent in Germany. Harold was trained as a cook for the Army in Switzerland. Harold was a member of the Nazarene Church and a lifetime member of the DAV (Disabled Veterans) Harold worked for Paul Summers Propane in Carnegie, Oklahoma. Harold married Aletha Troub on February 23, 1964 in Carnegie, Oklahoma. Harold & Aletha were camping hosts at several Oklahoma lakes. Harold loved fishing and he also enjoyed playing dominoes. He was a Champion Domino player in the Carnegie World Championship Tournament.
