James F. Bish, Sr. 66 of Anadarko passed away on February 13, 2016 in Oklahoma City. He was born on February 19, 1949 in Brookbille, Pennsylvania to George and Twila (Kimes) Bish.
He enlisted in the US Army on August 2, 1968 until July 30, 1971. In the US Army he received the following medals: National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Metal, Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Overseas Service Bar, Vietnam Service Metal w/60 days' service served in Vietnam, and Sharpshooters Qualification Badge. He met the love of his life, Doris Nowlin and they married on December 4, 1970.
He was an avid OU Fan, Oklahoma City Thunders, and Pittsburg Steelers. He loved to go fishing, camping with the family, boating, and hunting. He was a member of the Lions Club, American Legion and VFW. He attended Powwow's with his family and loved to Gourd Dance.
James is survived by his wife Doris of the home

grandchildren: Kaylee Bish, Alyssa Bish, Tayla Bish, and Kinley Hall
great-grandson: Carter Jay Perry all of Anadarko, OK
mother of Tayla and Alyssa: Shaneeka Mayo
brother: Gary Bish of Ohio
aunt: Twink Walters of Clarion, PA
numerous other relatives and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents: George F. and Twila Bish.

Officiating: Pastor David Gardner
Interment: Memory Lane Cemetery under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Anadarko.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from noon to 8:30 PM, and Thursday, 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM.
